A Mother. A Dream. A Remarkable Journey.
Some journeys deserve more than applause. They deserve respect. đź‘‘
FASIHA trained with me in communication, and watching her growth was truly special. She worked hard, listened, absorbed, practised — and the improvement she showed was remarkable.
But what makes her journey even more powerful is what stood behind that performance.
Just seven months after becoming a mother, FASIHA chose to step onto the Miss Universe India stage and give herself a chance to pursue a dream that still mattered deeply to her.
That meant leaving her little one at home, managing the emotions that come with being a new mother, preparing herself physically and mentally, and then walking onto one of the biggest pageant platforms in the country with composure, confidence and determination.
And she excelled.
I watched a woman refuse to allow motherhood to erase her individuality or her ambitions. I watched her find her voice, strengthen her communication and step forward with a quiet courage that was entirely her own.
FASIHA I hope you realise what you have already achieved.
The crown is only one measure of a pageant journey. Sometimes the greater victory is proving to yourself that your dreams did not end when a new chapter of your life began.
Your little one may be too young to understand what Mama did today — but someday, this will be a beautiful story to tell.
